Marmazova T. The historiography of insurgent movement in Ukraine under N.I.Mahno's leadership (1918 - 1921).

The dissertation is a complex historiographic research of insurgent movement under leadership of Nestor Mahno who unfolded his activity in the Ukrainian lands in 1918-1921 and turned into the phenomenon of significant social scale. His deep sign of discrepancy is reflected in a scientific literature, social and political journalism, memoirs. It is proved that ideological fogging of the majority of researches has predetermined application of the class approach to the analysis of the problem or the use of the movement led by N.I.Mahno and the character of its influence on the Ukrainian revolution of 1917 - 1920 as a criterion of estimation. In this connection the evidence of incompleteness of historical analysis of a specified theme is an extreme disorder of the ideas concerning character and driving forces of insurgent struggle. They deviate in a range from "kulatsky revolt" up to "general peasant war", from "counterrevolutionary" up to "democratic-revolutionary" direction.
