The work deals with the features of mistakes in crime qualification and on the grounds of their analysis gives their definition and investigates their effect. Mistake categorizing criterions are established and analyzed with determining criterions of separate categories of mistakes in crime qualification. The work investigates types of factors of mistakes and their place and role in making mistakes in crime qualification. Both types of mistakes in crime qualification and the problems of their detection, liquidation and prevention are considered.
