Object of research: patients with stomach cancer with operable and inoperable defeats of pancreas. The purpose of research - improvement of treatment's results of stomach cancer with defeat of a pancreas by optimization preoperative diagnostics and operative treatment. Methods of research: clinical, laboratory, endoscopy, radiological, ultrasonic, a computer tomography, a magnetic-resonant tomography and statistical processing. Scientific novelty: for the first time sensitivity and specificity of the separate diagnostic attributes received at different methods of preoperative research of patients are appreciated. The most informative criteria which allow to assume with different reliability involving of a pancreas at stomach cancer are revealed. The diagnostic algorithm of preoperative and intraoperative tactics is offered at widespreed stomach cancer with involving a pancreas. In comparative aspect methods of formation pancreas are appreciated at its resection. Practical value: investigating have allowed to improve preoperative diagnostics of involving of a pancreas in tumoral process at a stomach cancer that is necessary for correct planning operative intervention and postoperative actions, to specify indications to a resection of a pancreas in structure of the combined operation, thus to increase frequency of radical operative interventions at stomach cancer with the good direct and remote results and with the low letality and increase in the general survival of patients after the combined surgical interventions. Substantive provisions of the dissertation are introduced into work of surgical branches KOKOD, in pedagogical process at department of oncosurgery and oncogynecology of the Kharkov Medical Academy of postgraduate educations. Sphere of use: surgery and oncology.
