Nadia V. Archival service of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: history, information resources, and modern methods of their representation

The thesis is a first complex research on a history of formation and development of archival service in Ministry of Internal Affairs, its place in the State archives system and in development complex of archive business in USSR and Ukraine. The main tendencies of archive service development, the reason of close archives creature and the cause of destruction of important archival documents are showed in virtue of archival documents, that were put intoscience operation at first. The structure and contents of information resources of Ukraine Ministry of Internal Affairs are represented and their role in the studying of history of Ukraine is defined. The condition of computerisation in archival branch is investigated, automatisation statistic base of Ministry of Internal Affairs is analysed, and the direction of the further elaboration and possibility of integration in national information system "Archival and manuscript Ukraine" are determined
