Essay

Using methods of the theory of function of complex value and specific sixth-order plate bending theories, the approach to stress state investigation of transversal-isotropic and layered plates with straight through cracks is constructed. The behaviour of moments and transverse forces intensity factors under different geometrical and mechanical parameters of plates is investigated. The influence of crack closure along line on the compressed side of plate is analyzed under pure bending.
