The interaction between components in the Gd-Cu-Al (873 К), Tb-Ag-Al (873 К), Ce-Ag-Ga (573 К), Tb-Ag-Ga (873 and 573 К), Yb-Ag-Ga and Yb-Au-Ga at 873 К systems have been studied. The isothermal sections for these systems have been built. For the first time 15 ternary aluminides and 19 ternary gallides were obtained and there crystal structures were established. Coordinates, mode of distribution and thermal parameters of atoms were refined for 9 earlier known compounds. Some gallides were found to crystalize in their own type structures: YbAu4.2Ga1.8 (space group (SG) Im3, а = 1,4727(2) nm), YbAg3.1Ga2.6 (SG Im3, а = 1,47386(1) nm), YbAg3.6Ga1.9 (SG Cmmm, a = 0,91632(2), b = 2,35412(4), c = 0,91765(2) nm) and YbAg2.5Ga2.1 (SG P6/mmm, a = 0,96619(1), c = 0,91170(1) нм). The comparative analysis of the interaction between components in the Ln-{Cu, Ag, Au}-{Al, Ga} systems has been performed. The magnetic properties have been studied for some ternary gallides аnd conclusions about the valence state of rare-earth metals have been made.
