Lypka O. Christianity as a factor of humanization of an individual in modern Ukrainian society.

The dissertation analyses the process of humanization of an individual under influence of Christian religion in the conditions of modern Ukrainian society. It was found out that the aim of Christian humanization is holiness, and the means of reaching it is spirituality. Human desire to deepen spirituality means to become similar to Christ. This likening is reached though the heart as the centre of spirituality. Christian community helps an individual to reach the state of spiritual unification with God. In modern Ukrainian society community is a special place of humanization of an individual.
