1. Object - the information on activity WPI of the Kharkov Region. The purpose - on the basis of studying wide to a spectrum of various sources to reveal and analyse groups of sources which to shine(cover) process of activity of inspection from creation of its(her) local bodies on the Kharkov Region to reporting these bodies about the work. A method - descriptive, dynamic, историко-in comparison(историко-comparative), chronological. In the dissertation the literature and archival sources on a history of establishments of state control in the Kharkov Region1920 - 1930th for the first time is in a complex investigated. The level of development of a problem in a historical science is shown. It is determined, that in the best way investigated following questions: concept " a historical source "; classification of sources; internal and external criticism of sources; feature of historical sources XX century. In research the following groups of sources of a history of establishments of state control of the Kharkov Region 1920 - х - 1930th are allocated: Constitutions UkSSR, " Positions... " About bodies of the state control, the instruction, auditing certificates(acts), reports of sessions, reports. In research it is proved, that any of the above mentioned groups of documents changed both on external registration, and on sense. On the maintenance(contents) of documents the big influence was rendered by the current policy(politics) of the Soviet authority, and also change in a state system of republic. The investigated sources have the big value for regional historical researches in Ukraine.
