Smirnova H. Philosophically religious analysis of dramaturgic and epistolary heritage of Lesya Ukrayinka.

The thesis is dedicated to philosophically religious analysis of dramaturgic and epistolary heritage of Lesya Ukrayinka in the context of Ukrainian philosophical tradition. This work explains cultural and historical reasons for appearing and development of philosophical, ethical and religious views of authoress. It investigates the reasons of poetess' appealing to the Bible and spiritual traditions of world culture. Great deal of the thesis is concerned with religious concepts of Lesya Ukrayinka, which disclose the following: principal position of Lesya Ukrayinka as for the origin and essence of religion; the problem of correlation of ethnical and religious matters, the role of their interference in world development and in Ukrainian history; the aspect of connection of religion and church with social, cultural and national life.
