Alferov S. The Activity of Internal Affairs Bodies in the Counteraction against Crime in Resort Regions (Criminological Research according to data of Zaporozhye Oblast).

The dissertation is dedicated to the complex research of the activity of Internal Affairs Bodies of resort regions in the counteraction against crime; organization and carrying out of this activity is analyzed; forms and methods of maintenance of public order and struggle against crime in these conditions are examined; the ways of improvement and optimization of this activity are elaborated. Specific features of criminal situation of resort regions are defined and researched, including political, social, demographical, economic and psychological aspects. The classification of the resort regions is improved, and on its base the specificity of criminological situation in its specific types is determined. Priority tasks of Internal Affairs Bodies in resort regions are examined. The ways of improvement of the effectiveness of operational-official activity of services and subdivisions of Internal Affairs Bodies in the resort regions in the counteraction against crime are proposed, namely organization of maintenance of a public order and combating specific types of crime and misdemeanor. The main directions of organization of interaction among Internal Affairs Bodies of resort regions.
