The object of research is the learning activities of the students of technical higher schools. The purpose of research is to substantiate theoretically and to prove experimentally the efficiency of the main stages of technical students' learning activities while working with press in foreign languages and the technology of their realization. The methods of research: theoretical, empirical, statistical. The sci-entific novelty and theoretical value: for the first time the main stages of technical students" learning activities while working with the newspaper material in foreign languages are grounded scientifi-cally and proved experimentally, the technology of realizing the determined stages are developed? The students' creative activity is further developed while working with mass media information. The practical value: the technology of realizing the main stages of tech-nical students' work with the press is developed and implemented in the pedagogical process of higher schools.
