Essay

In the dissertation are established the relations between group topologies and paratopological group topologies on a group. Cardinal invariants of semitopological and paratopological groups are investigated. Obtained sufficient conditions when a paratopological group is a topological group. Constructed an example of a paratopological group with zero-dimensional Hausdorff topology, which cannot be weakened to a Hausdorff group topology.
