The isothermal sections of the phase diagrams of the U-{Co,Ni,Cu}-In ternary systems have been constructed at 870 K. 7 new ternary compounds have been obtained in these and the related U, Th-{Ni,Cu,Pd}-In, Sn systems (for one of them two polymorphic modifications exist). For 8 of them the crystal structure was determined, for one - partly. Two compounds are the representatives of the new structure types: UCu5In (R) and U3Ni60In8. The existence of UCo4-xNixIn and U1-xCexNi4In as continuous solid solutions have been established. For UCu5In and ThCu5In compounds the dependence of the magnetic susceptibilities, electrical resistivity, specific heat capacity and relative lengthening on temperature, and field dependence of the magnetisation have been investigated.
