Getmantsev D. Banking Secrecy: Peculiarities of its Legal Regulation in Ukraine and in the Legislation of Foreign Countries

The dissertation contains a complex research into theoretical and practical aspects of the peculiarities of the legal regulation of the banking secrecy both in Ukraine and in the legislation of other countries. The candidate for the degree has performed a complex research into the notion of banking secrecy using theoretical achievements of scientists and paying a special attention to scientific papers on the financial and administrative law. On the basis of both computations of theoreticians in law and laws of other countries the author suggests improving the content of the notion of "banking secrecy" that is legalized by the Ukrainian legislation, enlarging the list of the data that have to be considered banking secrecy and improving the mechanism of its protection.
