Pan'ko O. Christianity in history spiritual culture of ukrainian people: based on the materials of I.Oghijenko's scientific heritage.

This dissertation highlights the views of I.Oghijenko on the historical role of christianity in spiritual culture of ukrainian people. On the basis of analysis of the works of the well-known scientist, public and church statesman the author traces the evolution of christian life in Ukraine as well as she makes an attempt to realise his hictorical and theological heritage without any ideological or confessional bias. The author has also considered the views of I.Oghijenko on the essence, tendencies, main stages of development and sources of formation of the ukrainian spiritual culture. I.Oghijenko's conception of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which he declare in his numerous works has been analysed in the given dissertation. The role of christian Church in spiritual renewel of ukrainian society on the modern stage has been considered.
