Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to studying of peroxidation processes influence on lipid and energy exchanges, and autoimmune processes for patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD) (stable tension stenocardia of functional classes II-III) and IHD with hypertonic illness (HI) of II stage with the subsequent correction by antagonists of calcium as diltiasem and nifedipin. Activation of processes of lipid peroxidation results in a sharp lipid metabolism impairment. Thus, in both groups we noticed metabolism impairment of essential fat acids and development of autoimmune processes. It has been proved also that the ischemia of the myocardium results in essential disorder of energy exchange. These changes are expressed by decrease of an amount of adenyl nucleotides in erythrocytes of peripheral blood. At IHD and IHD with HI, there is development of membrane-destructive processes, which causes cell membrane permeability impairment. We concluded that the changes of energy and lipid exchanges as well as development of autoimmune processes at IHD and IHD with HI are connected mainly with membrane-toxic activity of lipid peroxidation products and electrolytic impairment. As a result of the carried out studying, we established that diltiasem and nifedipin have positive influence on energy and lipid exchanges as well as on autoimmune processes at IHD and IHD with HI. We proved efficiency and perspectivity of use of these calcium antagonists in complex therapy of IHD and IHD with HI.
