Dvornik I. The study of therapeutic effect of cryopreserved fetoplacental tissue in complex therapy of the diabetes mtllitus of the 1 and 2 types

The object of investigation is the group of patients with diabetes mellitus of the 1st and 2nd types. The purpose of investigation is to substantiate the expediency of cryopreserved fetoplacental tissue using for increasing complex treatment of the diabetes mellitus of the 1st and 2nd types on the base of clinical observations and biochemical investigations.The methods of investigations are clinical, biochemical, immunological and statistic ones.For the first time the medicinal properties of cryopreserved fetoplacental tissue were investigated and the effectiveness of placenta using in complex therapy due to increasing adaptive organism resources and suppression metabolic abnormalities was established. It has been determined that the cryopreserved fetoplacental tissue using allows to maintain satisfactory glycemic control, to reduce the free-radical peroxide lipoid oxidation, to normalize the lipoid metabolisms and to improve the life quality of patients with diabetes mellitus. The method was incorporated in clinical practice of two endocrinological establishments in Poltava and in educational process of five chairs in higher medical establishments in Ukraine. The area of using is endocrinology.
