In the thesis the analysis of efficiency of restriction devices complex of magnitude and of operation duration of internal overvoltages on the regulating transformer of reactive power static compensator of direct regulation is carried out. The recommendations concerning a modification of the scheme and parameters of the overvoltages restriction devices, which decide a scientific-technical problem stipulated by a discrepancy of isolation levels of a booster transformer regulating winding and overvoltages magnitudes, which act on it are developed.
