3 The dissertation focuses on the study of linguistic manifestation of the "Social Security" textual situation in Modern English fiction, official and journalistic styles, viewed from a social programming perspective. The thesis proceeds from the idea that texts of different functional styles form the basis for social programming of society members or society as a whole aimed to establish the norms and principles of social life. In its turn, social textual programming is an instrument for ensuring social security of infringed population groups (invalids, old people, children and women), citizens of the USA, in particular, which results in giving these categories of people an access to full-fledged life.
