Essay

The object is structural, optical - physical and nonlinear optical properties of SrB4O7, Sr4B14O25 crystals and doped Sr4B14O25:RE3+ (RE3+ = Pr3+, Nd3+, Eu3+) monocrystals. The aim is investigation of the growth conditions of SrB4O7, Sr4B14O25, Sr4B14O25:RE3+ (RE3+ = Pr3+, Nd3+, Eu3+) optical monocrystals, study of the structural peculiarity, spectral - optical and nonlinear optical properties of this crystals. The methods are - TSSG - monocrystals growth methodic, differential thermal analysis, the X - ray structura analysis, the spectrometric and luminescence methodic, the nonlinear - optics investigation, the Jadd - Offelt theoretic methodic. The phase diagram of the SrO - B2O3 system in concentration range 50 - 75 mol.% is investigated. The new chemical compound Sr4B14O25 was developed. It was growing up new Sr4B14O25,Sr4B14O25: RE3+ (RE3+ = Pr3+, Nd3+, Eu3+) monocrystals. The crystal structure of new crystal was checked. It was investigate the spectral and luminescence properties of crystals Sr4B14O25 and Sr4B14O25:Pr+3 crystal. The nonsinchroneous generation of II and III garmonics of YAG:Nd3+ laser radiation in SrB4O7 thin monocrystal plates are fixed. The possibility of laser generation on the energy transition 3P0®3F2 on the crystal Sr4B14O25:Pr3+ at a room temperature are grounded.
