Yurchishena E. Peculiarities of the Course of Bronchial Asthma in Children with Food Allergy

On the basis of a conducted complex clinico - paraclinical and immunological examination of 221 patients of early age afflicted with bronchial asthma specific distinctions for the course of this pathology in children with food allergy have been established. It has been established that the negative reserve of oxygen dependent metabolism of the blood eosinophiles is a highly specific test in disclosing the signs of silent food allergy in patients with bronchial asthma. The research deals with the results of clinico - epidemiological studies of the diagnostic value of methods, detecting mascked food allergy in 221 patients of early age with bronchial asthma. It has been established that more sensitive methods should be applied to primary screening, whereas specific ones are used for diagnostic verification (namely, cutireaction tests, interleukin-4, evaluation, general and specific immunoglobulin of class E in the blood serum).
