Essay

Problems of lipid metabolism in diseases with chronic inflammation in pathogenesis, such as active rheumatic fever, chronic ischemic heart disease and chronic obstructive bronchitis were reflected in the dissertation. Peculiarities of lipid metabolism in mentioned diseases depending on a level of blood cholesterol were revealed. Assoсiation between parameters of lipid metabolism and features of inflammation (C-reactive protein, fibrinogen) and fuctional state of an organ, in particular with ejection fraction of the left ventricle was proved. Prognostic criteria of a course of disease with inflammation syndrome were proposed. Results of the research were introduced in practice and educational process.
