Essay

Development process of early age-related macular degeneration (AMD). To increase of treatment efficiency of the patients with early AMD in the way experimentally and clinical substantiation by application Instenon that is a combination of antihypoxic and antiischemic drugs. Methods: spatial contrast sensitivity, reoophtalmography, oculography, bulbar conjunctiva biomicroscopy with microcirculation evaluation, determination of the Gaydingera phenomenon; histological research of a retina sections. Instrumentation: reoophtalmograph, oculograph, maculotester. For the first time Instenon retinoprotective action has been proved experimentally on model of retinas dystrophia. It fixed, that prescription of the offered medical regimen to patients with early AMD has allowed rising of visual acuity on 28 %, decrease of the scotomas area by 65 % and the FST time to 72% and improve of volume indexes of choroidal blood circulation on 40%, stabilization of vessels elastotonic properties and improve of microcirculation at this category of patients. A method is inculcated in Kharkov RCH, KhMSU, Kharkov CH №14. A sphere of use is medicine, ophtalmology.
