Object - financial flows of insurance companies in Ukraine; objective - deepening of conceptual fundamentals and practical recommendations development for financial flows optimization of insurance companies; methods - a dialectic method and a system approach, analysis and synthesis, statistical methods and these of economic and mathematical modeling; findings - complex research of economic nature of insurance companies is carried out, practical functioning of financial flows of insurance companies is analyzed, improvement approaches of effective management of insurer's financial flows are grounded; innovation - economic and mathematical model for assessment of optimal structure of insurance portfolio is elaborated for the first time; implemented - into activities of the league of insurance companies on Ukraine a well as insurance companies "Teren", "Halytska"; sphere - insurance activities.
