Sport horses. Exterior, body measurements, conformation type, sportive performance traits and breeding values. Zootechnical, genetic-statistical, BLUP.The new method of evaluation of sportive performance was developed and used and factors, that determine it were evaluated. Aspects of adaptation and use of BLUP method to evaluate horse genotype were analyzed. The new scheme of organization of the work of subjects of breeding of Ukrainian riding breed was proposed. The ways of increasing genetic progress in sportive performance of Ukrainian riding breed were grounded. Horse plants and horse-sport schools.
