Essay

Object of investigation is district-heating systems. The goal is finding of the rational way of projection and reconstruction of the urban heat supply systems. The methods are system analysis, nonlinear mathematical programming, mathematical processing of full-scale and numerical experiment results. Theoretical and practical results - Methods of rational projection and reconstruction of heat supply systems are designed; they provide with minimum cost of supplied heat energy during a heating season and with minimum pay-back period of reconstruction. Computer-based system of calculation programs is designed and tested; it provides with computer solution of the task of heat supply system optimal reconstruction. The novelty - Mathematical model of heat supply system operation is designed; it enables to calculate economical characteristics of the system according to its configuration and dimensions. The results of this task solution enabled to find optimum configuration of equipment, optimum diameters of pipelines and others. Implementation extent - The results are implemented in reconstruction of the enterprise Closed Joint-Stock Company "Combined Heat and Power Plant -3" in Kharkov. Field of implementation is various types of cogeneration systems.
