Barabash Y. Parliamentary control in Ukraine: problems of theory and practice

The theoretical bases of the parliamentary control, its legal nature and institutional mechanism; principles and functions of the parliamentary control, its kinds, form and stages; relations in the field of the parliamentary control, the place of the parliamentary control in the system of functions of the Supreme Council of Ukraine are investigated in the dissertation. The analysis is given and the basic directions of improvement of such forms of the parliamentary control as parliamentary hearings, parliamentary investigation are specified; impeachment of the President of Ukraine and expression of mistrust to a Cabinet of the Ministers of Ukraine; the forms of control activity of the people’s deputy of Ukraine and internal parliamentary control are detalyzed; control activity of the Commissioner of the Supreme Council of Ukraine for human rights and Accounting chamber is analyzed.
