Chevnyuk L.V. Spin-waves propagation in epitaxial films of yttrium-iron garnet. - thesis Dissertation for the degree of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences specialty 01.04.03 - radiophysics. - Kyiv Tarasa Shevchenka National University, Kyiv, 2004. Dissertation represents experimental research results for spin-waves (SW) propagation in epitaxial films of yttrium-iron garnet (YIG). New method is developed for the local nondestructive analysis of SW decay parameter in planar structures using dielectric resonator. It is proved, that below the 100 K temperature performance of spin-wave electronic devices, based on YIG films, would be inefficient because of the SW decay abrupt increasing in the film substrates. Influence of different conductivity mechanisms onto SW propagation in epitaxial YIG films was studied. Gallium and silicium doping effect on SW decay was investigated for the volume in-growth dopping and thermodiffusion doping. Actual spin-wave MW electronic devices proposed, implementedusing doping. Temperature and artificial elastic stress effect was studied onto magnetostatic waves spectra shift. As a result of this study, heat stabilized MW element was created based on epitaxial YIG film. Keywords: spin-wave MW electronics, epitaxial YIG films, dielectric resonator, spin-waves propagation.
