Essay

A connection between humanistic pithiness of the text and its artistry is being researched. The main points of the notion "humanism" have been displayed, methodical principles of the analysis have been worked out. Two novels have been analyzed with the object of to humanistic pithiness -"The Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck and "The Yellow Prince" by Vasyl Barka. Poetic style of these literary works are under investigation. Typological comparative analysis of both novels has been carried out with the purpose of revealing similarities and differences of literary systems of two novels. The research proves the existence of interdependence between humanistic pithiness of the literary text and its artistry, which was the ultimate goal of all our investigations. In the thesis the antipathy between humanistic and degumanistic literature has been revealed and researched.
