Usanova V. Infectiousness by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and the ways of reduction it among the children under modern conditions

The object is children's ТB infectiousness in conditions of TB epidemic and radiation pollution of the environment; the aims to study the infectiousness by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and to elaborate the program of intensification antitubercular measures among children, who live on radio nuclides contaminated terrains, on this basis; the methods are epidemiological, clinical, X-ray, immunological, statistical; the novelty - the high level of TB infected children who live in polluted territories of Kyiv's region (IVth zone), the priority risk factors by ТB infectiousness, peculiarity of a latent tubercular infection was determined for the first time; the screening-test for diagnostics of the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome have been elaborated; the new ways of early revealing and chemoprophylaxis of tuberculosis in children with changes in immunal system and having proof expressed and hypersensitivity type of reaction to tuberculin have been created; the main include methodical references, the Information Letter, the program of intensification antitubercular measures among children. The results of this work was inserted in activity of Institute of Tuberculosis and pulmonology named by F.G. Yanovsky Academy MS of Ukraine, children's clinical tubercular Kiev's hospital, children's tubercular sanatorium "Barvinok", Kiev's regional tubercular dispensary. The field is Health Defense.
