Syrotuk L. System of processing and analysis of the data about selection work in the fine-fleeced husbandry with use of computer technique

Research aim : creation of a computer informational system for elaborating, analysing of data of the selection work in fine-fleeced sheep husbandry, improvement of the methodic of selection index calculation of the ram of wool-mutton performance and for, improvement of the method of prognostication of selection indices level with use of genetic-mathematic methods. Research object : selection herd of the Ascanian breed with the aim of improvement and elaboration of the system of col-lection and analysis of data of the selection in sheep husbandry with use of genetic-mathematic methods and computers. Methods of research : zootechnic methods of investigations and those of evaluation of sheep per-formance, theoretical grounds of elaboration of database и automated systems, wide range of mathematical methods (correlation, regression, dispersion analysis etc.) Theoretical and practical results: it is for the first time that a system of elaboration and analysis of the fine-fleeced sheep husbandry databasein order to manage the selection has been composed ; the system allows to solve a wide range of tasks, including account in ac-cordance with the usual zootechnic measures (evaluation, insemination, weaning etc.) ; selection-genetic analysis (progeny evaluation, lines etc.) ; determination of the selection efficiency etc. Sphere of use : pedigree farms for fine-fleeced breeds of sheep.
