Essay

The thesis is dedicated to study of transformation and nonlinear interaction of waves in the solar atmosphere and Earth's magnetosphere. A set of new transformation mechanism for the widescale MHD waves is obtained, taking into account the kinetic effects in the Alfven waves dynamics. The MHD waves dissipated into a short-wavelengths region where the MHD turbulence exists in a form Alfven waves. It is shown that the account for the kinetic effects in the Alfven waves essentially influences the processes of transformation and nonlinear interaction of the MHD waves both between itself, and with other types of waves. On the basis of the two-fluid MHD the nonlinear mechanism of generation of the kinetic Alfven waves, inertial Alfven waves, compressible Alfven waves, electron-sound and low-hybrid waves are considered. Additionally, we apply our theoretical results to the case of the solar atmosphere and the Earth's magnetosphere. The estimations obtained show that the considered nonlinear processes are effective both in the Sun, and in the Earth's magnetosphere, where the plasma parameter is lower than one.
