Essay

Thesis is on the research of political culture transformation in the making a democratic political regime. The link between political culture and political regime is established; the place of political culture in a regime is defined. With help of comparative analysis of the process transformation the totalitarian and authorative regimes into democratic, the main directions, stages and details of democratic and politi-cal culture transformation are recognized. The difference between social that are the motive forces on these stages is demonstrated. The positive influence of developed civil society to establishing the democ-ratic and political culture is revealed. Essentials of political culture formation of democratic type at the democratic transition in the Ukraine are shown.
