High Strength Low Alloyed Steels (type 10G2FB). Mechanical properties of HSLA steel were increased by obtaining of an acicular ferrite structure (up to 70% in structure). Light and electron microscopy were used ( Neofot-2, EM125K, JEM-7A). Mechanical tests were used (FP-100/1, 2130 KM-03), X-ray technique was used (DRON-4-0,3). Time-temperature intervals of acicular ferrite structure formation were established. Interlath grain boundaries internal structure of acicular ferrite packet was established. Treatment conditions that allow obtaining up to 70% of acicular ferrite in steel structure were developed. Mechanical properties complex complied to X70 by API standard. These results may be used at metallurgical plants producing steels for metal structures and also at teaching and educational process.
