Essay

In the thesis the processes of long-lived radionuclides 137Cs and 90Sr migration after Chernobyl NPP accident in the Black Sea are investigated. Also these radionuclides are used as a tracers of water exchange processes. On the basis of environmental data and mathematical modeling, the time dependences describing dynamics of 137Cs and 90Sr are obtained. The Danube and Dnieper Rivers waters in the north-western shelf are quantitatively identified and new results about velocity and parameters of the vertical water mixing in the Black Sea deep-water basin are obtained
