It has been substantiated the improvement of working parameters for different types of band-shoe brake of drilling winch. It has been proposed the elements of calculation theory of main working parameters. Some means of control for dynamic and thermal loading serial and new band-shoe brake with mobile friction plates of drilling winch has been shown.
