Essay

The features of chemical reactions of the carbo- and hetero-chain components formation due to the modifi-cation of the vinylester-urethane hybrid composites was studied. It was shown, that by using the modifiers of the different molecular architectures the composites having the different phase structure were formed. The phase structure was found to determine both the mechanism and energy of composite fracture. More effective modifiers increasing the fracture toughness are those that react to either the hetero-chain compo-nent or at one time the hetero- and carbo-chains of the vinylester-urethane hybrid network.
