The object of the research is business dialogues functioning in institutional-production sphere, where participants are authorized to solve business problems. The aim of the research is a study of structural, semantic and pragmatic characteristics of business dialogical discourse and exposure of its principal types. The methods of the research are discourse analysis, systemic-functional and componental analyses. Theoretical results and novelty: business dialogical discourse is distinguished as a specific category, its classification is developed and the types of business dialogical discourse are established, the regularities of its structuring and functioning are determined, status-and-role characteristics' influence on the form of language material is evaluated. Practical results: teaching basic theory of communication, stylistics. The sphere of application: pragmatic linguistics, discourse studies.
