Essay

The work deals with the problem of improving control efficiency over mass emissions of particles from diesel locomotives. Efficient control leads to reduction of labor input and cost of ecological testing of rolling stork which is carried out in accordance with standard ISO 8178. The research has theoretically proved the expediency of the method of express specific measurement of mass particle emissions on the railroad. Testing conditions providing accuracy of measurement have been determined. Applicability of the method has been experimentally tested. Procedure for express toxic measurement of exhaust from diesel locomotives which permits to reduce the period time and the amount of fuel necessary for testing has been developed.
