Maryna O. Ukrainian-Greek Relations: Historical Preconditions and Contemporary State of Development

The evolution and establishment of Ukrainian-Greek relations have been investigated and their stages have been distinguished. Their historical preconditions that were stipulated for prolonged religious, economical, political and cultural connection have been examined. The evolution of bilateral relations in political, economical and humanitarian spheres has been highlighted. The place of Ukrainian-Greek relations in the system of European and word international relations of 90-s XX - XXI centuries has been shown. The impact of the word, European and regional factors including Russian, Turkish and Macedonian has been analyzed. The place and role, forms and spheres of cooperation of central and regional bodies of the state government and the role of Greek minority in the establishment of Ukrainian-Greek relations have been considered. Cooperation of two states in the foreign policy sphere, in formation of the legal base of their bilateral relations have been investigated as the factors of development ofthe economical ties have been analyzed. Peculiarities of Ukrainian-Greek relations in humanitarian sphere have been elucidated.
