Essay

The thesis contains the researches of approximation attributes of linear methods of summation of series in the spaces S^{p}_{phi}. Introduced in the theses are conceptions of regularity and saturation for general linear methods of summation of series in the spaces S_{varphi}^{p}. We obtain sufficient conditions of saturation and necessary and sufficient conditions of regularity for such methods in S_{varphi}^{p}. We also find the exact values of the best n-term approximations by {Lambda}-methods of q-ellipsoids in the spaces S_{varphi}^{p}.
