Essay

Morbidity diphthery in Zaporozhye has exceeded morbidityin Ukraine in 2 times, and in separate regions of city in 8 times. Among the patients the faces of higher age groups, woman predominated. At non-vaccinated heavy current of disease and the complications were marked in 2.5 times more often, than at vaccinated. With magnification of age has increased an amount of the widespread and combined forms. On the patients of average age it was necessary 84 % of the combined forms.Anti-diphtheria anti-toxic antibodies didn't ensure protection from the disease but managed to identify its form, seriousness of its course and nature of aggravations.Vaccination availability, concomitant pathology and age of patients are determinants of the seriousness of the course of the disease and occurrence of aggravations. Course of diphtheria involves into immune reply the cells of general inflammatory reaction (CGIR), T- and B- systems of immune system. Vaccinated patients experienced a higher rate of mobilization into thefocus of CGIR, where of changes in leucogram proved. Misbalance of immune system in case of serious diphtheria had been revealed, middle aged patients showed signs of immunodeficiency. During the formation of immune protection systems it was observed that there is a transfer from adjusting reactions to misbalance in patients with serious and aggravated diphtheria. In vaccinated patients the leading role of anti-infectious protection belongs to T-system, in non-vaccinated patients - to T-system, CGIR, in patients with affected nervous system T- and B-systems, CGIR are involved.
