In the thesis complex research of collaboration between France and Ukraine in the basic spheres of two peoples' intellectual life at the and of the XVIIIth - first half of the XIXth centuries for the first time is carried out. On the basic of the analysis Franch historiography, publicism, memoirs, fiction the influence of the Ukrainian subjects on cultural life of France at the end of the XVIIIth - first half of the XIXth centuries is shown. The importance of the Franch culture for development of Ukraine is investigated.
