Object - patients, operated for cancer of the stomach and pancreas; purpose - to ground and introduce the method of stress prophylaxis of the gastro-intestinal organs in radical operations for cancer of the stomach and pancreas, and to estimate its efficiency; methods - clinical, X-ray, ultrasonic, endoscopic, laboratory, histologic, rheographic, and statistical treatment; results - a new scientific direction in comprehension of pathogenesis complications, which develop in early post-operative period in patients who had undergone radical operations for cancer of the stomach and pancreas; the preventive method of those complications was elaborated and its efficiency was estimated; the secondary role of the direct operative trauma of the pancreas and the development of acute postoperative pancreatitis and pancreanecrosis were proved; topicality - for the first time during the radical operation in case of stomach cancer and pancreas cancer there was estimated the leading role of over irritation ofthe sympathetic nervous system and appearing of stress disorders of inner organs; the microcirculation and central haemodynamics in the pancreas tissue was studied directly during the operation in the conditions of regional sympathetic blockade, effectivity of alcoholization of abdominal nerves for prevention of ischemic damage of organs was proved; the degree of introduction in practical activity of surgical department of Crimea republic clinical oncologic dispensary, Kerch city oncologic dispensary, oncological and surgical clinics of Ukraine, is used by the Chair of Onkology of Crimea State Medical University named after S.I. Georgievsky in teaching of oncology course; the medical branch - oncology.
