Hydration shell and structure of DNA, poly(A) and complex of DNA with actinocin derivative - actinocil-bis-(2-dimethylaminoethyl)amine (ActII). To investigate the influence of ionizing radiation on ion-hydration shell and structure of DNA. Methods of research are EHF differential dielectrometry, measurements of conductivity, infrared spectroscopy, piezogravimetry, gel electrophoresis. It was found that g-irradiation in vitro at doses 370, 670 and 1650 Gy resulted in substantial changes of structure and extent of hydration of poly(A) and DNA. The considerable changes of the state of hydration shell and the structure of DNA from liver of irradiated in Chernobyl NPS zone rats were revealed. It was found that the amount of bound water molecules was decreased by a value up to 25% for irradiated DNA. Parameters of ion-hydration shell of actinocin derivative ActII, complex DNA-ActII and changes of these parameters under the irradiation were determined. Sphere of use is molecular and radiation biophysics.
