Lyashenko T. Structural-compositional, lingual-stylistic and pragmatic peculiarities of the arts review in German newspapers.

This dissertation is concerned with the study of the German arts review with a particular emphasis on the functional-communicative guidelines in the present-day lingual stylistics. The dissertation presents a pioneering attempt at a comprehensive analysis of the newspaper arts review as a text type and its modifications on several levels. A structural model of each modification of the artistic review has been construed, the coherence of the text on the structural-compositional and thematic levels has been studied, both linguistic and paralinguistic means of the pragmatic impact of the text of the arts review on the recipient have been revealed and ways of the manifestation of the said impact have been elucidated.
