Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to studying cardiac autonomic neuropathy in patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus. Object: cardiac autonomic neuropathy in patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus. The work is aimed on estimating the method of variation pulsometry and functional tests in diagnostics of diabetic cardiac autonomic neuropathy and on developing the therapeutic approaches to its treatment. Methods and apparatus: clinical, biochemical, and instrumental; helium-neon laser LH-111, electrocardiograph, dynameter. Theoretical and practical results: method of variation pulsometry for the assessing the state of vegetative regulation of the heart is informative, the algorithm for diagnostics of cardiac neuropathies is developed, rational schemes for treating with blood laser irradiation (BLI) and ?-lipoic acid (?-LA) were worked. The new: it was demonstrated that the indices of variation pulsometry have direct correlative connection with the indices of functional tests, and efficiency of the treatment using BLI and ?-LA is connected with corrective influence on the vegetative nervous system. The level of approach: results can be used in treating the patients with cardiac diabetic autonomic neuropathy, other visceral neuropathies and for training the specialists-endocrinologists. Field of application: endocrinology, neurology.
