Essay

The thesis to be defended comprises the test methods developed and the results of investigations into mechanical properties of nonmetallic fibrous composite materials and their components at high temperatures. A test setup has been designed for studying mechanical properties of nonmetallic fibers in tension at temperatures of 290-1870 K, as well as a setup for determining physicomechanical characteristics of nonmetallic composite materials in torsion in the temperature range from 290 to 3300 K.
