Grigorov S. New generation of antibacterial preparations in treating purulent-inflammatory processes of soft tissues of maxillo-facial surgery (clinico-morphologycal research).

Morphological and immuno-morphological changes in purulent wounds and inner organs when using antibiotics of new generations -ospamox and klacid - in treatment of phlegmons of soft tissues of experimental animals have been investigated. Clinical results of treating phlegmons and abscesses of maxillo-facial area in 98 patients have been analysed. The experiment has proved that using ospamox and klacid, provides a quicker purification of wounds from necrotic tissues resulting in more intensive regeneration. Immuno-morphological investigations have demonstrated normalization of immune reactions and more progressive restoration of morpho-functional conditions of inner organs. Clinical, laboratory and microbiological experiments have shown that usage of ospamox and klacid compared with lincomicin results in a quicker stabilization of main parameters of regeneration, decrease of intoxication level and subsequently in shortening terms of treatment. Sown flora is sensitive to the antibiotics in 100% of cases.
