Essay

The dissertation contains the results of theoretical-experimental research on problem of social-psychology adaptation of mentally retarded children, which was worked out on the base of studying of sychological -pedagogical conditions of ensuring of correctional influence on pupils of junior classes of subsidiary boarding school in conditions of extra-curriculum upbringing work. The essence of social-psychology adaptation of mentally retarded children is elucidated. Its structural components are determined and studied (intercourse, personal contacts, psychological climate). Also the manifestations of disadaptation are determined and studied. The adaptation-development program for the pupils of junior classes is worked out. This program is directed on the obliteration of the developments of disadaptation and the development of the adaptation possibilities, increasing of adaptation level. The effectiveness of its application is proved.
